From Athens take a quick flight to Zakynthos to start your time across the Ionian Islands where some of Europe’s best beaches are.  You can take short 35-40 min flights in between the islands or 2-3 hour fast ferries.  Depending on your day of travels has different options and time frames.  If pressed for time can take one of the islands out.
